Sunsets from the west side of Bali are truly some of the most spectacular we have seen during our trip back in March of 2016. These are taken in Pekutatan while we stayed at Kelapa Retreat & Spa.

Stars Over Bali
Every year the Balinese celebrate Nyepi, which is an annual day of silence, and if you have been there during that time you'll know just how DARK night really can get since the entire island shuts off it's electricity and lights for 24-hours. What an amazing sight to see each star sparkling like a diamond caught in a dark net.
High up on Mount Lempuyang
During one of our days off from scuba diving and snorkeling in Amed, Bali, we decided to see how far one of the steep local mountain roads could leads us onto Mount Lempuyang, in the eastern part of the island. We past several villages with chickens and dogs running freely as fog kept rolling on, and we were able to snap one shot on the top.
Sleepy Sanur
We arrived in Sanur, Bali a few days ago and we were surprised at just how quiet this coastal town is. There was hardly anyone to disturb the water or sand. And with Sanur facing east, the sunrise coming over Nusa Penida island is a captivating view of towering rainclouds, and eye popping colours.
