Back in July I spent a cold and rainy afternoon wondering around a deserted low tide Isshiki Beach, with nothing but my camera and my friend Myu. These are the photos from that eerie, quiet, and motionless environment.
Showa Kinen Park, which is about 30 minutes out from central Tokyo, is currently having it's annual flower festival where tens of thousands of tulips, among many other varieties of flowers, bloom throughout the park. It's a good place to take the misses for a stroll and some quick snaps.
Summertime in Japan is not complete without its fair share of street festivals ( matsuri ). The scene usually consists of herds of people descending upon tight narrow streets, with smokey food stalls preparing locals dishes for you to feast on, while copious amounts of cold beer are only an arms reach away to help you wash down the food.
