A selection of photos from earlier this year when I went on a 25km walk along the coast from Katsuura to Onjuku.
Sunsets from the west side of Bali are truly some of the most spectacular we have seen during our trip back in March of 2016. These are taken in Pekutatan while we stayed at Kelapa Retreat & Spa.
Here is a spectacular sunset facing Bali, with Mount Agung peeking out from the clouds as the low tide recedes further into the horizon and night creeps closer by the minute.
Virgin Beach, in north east Bali, is where you'll find white sand, crystal clear water, volcanic rock, and me trying to stay afloat in the ocean snapping some portraits.
During one of our days off from scuba diving and snorkeling in Amed, Bali, we decided to see how far one of the steep local mountain roads could leads us onto Mount Lempuyang, in the eastern part of the island. We past several villages with chickens and dogs running freely as fog kept rolling on, and we were able to snap one shot on the top.
We arrived in Sanur, Bali a few days ago and we were surprised at just how quiet this coastal town is. There was hardly anyone to disturb the water or sand. And with Sanur facing east, the sunrise coming over Nusa Penida island is a captivating view of towering rainclouds, and eye popping colours.
